Fear is not an option

As I'm getting ready for this trip and Satan is trying to throw roadblocks in my way, I realize that is because he is scared of the mighty things that God is going to do in and through us! There is no reason to fear or to get caught up in what ifs because our God has already won the victory and we have NOTHING to fear!! Fear is part of human nature but it's not something we got from God. 1 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." And no where in the BIble does it say, "You are to live a life of mediocrity and abundance, holding on tight to your comfortable lifestyle, lest you lose it." No. I don't think so. "Mediocrity and abundance" aren't there. However, mediocrity and abundance, comfort, ease and apathy do seem to be safe choices for many people. In stark contrast, leaving our possessions, following Jesus when we don't have a well-defined plan, and caring more for others than ourselves–that's what we are called to do. Obedience. Thats what He requires if we truly love Him. That is living life to the fullest! When we look at our lives and see how God has blessed and how much love He has given to us, it's only normal that God would ask, even require us to share this love with others who may not know it. Luke 12:48 says, "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." And I have been given so much.
